Fire destroys home and car | News

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB)- A home and car were loss in a fire Wednesday night, but
no injuries were reported.

It sparked at a house in the 10000 block of David Drive
in Baton Rouge a little after 8 p.m.

The Baton Rouge Fire Department said when crews arrived
on the scene the roof was already totally engulfed in flames.

Officials said the fire destroyed the home and a car
parked under the carport.

Firefighters were successful in keeping the flames from
spreading to any neighboring homes.

The Red Cross was called to assist the family of four.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what
caused the fire.
