Traffic flows again after multi-vehicle crash at I-10/I-12 merge | News
BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB)- A crash involving as many as seven vehicles shut down most of the I-10/I-12 merge for about an hour Wednesday morning.
The accident happened around 6:45 a.m.
All lanes were reopened around 7:55 a.m.
There were injuries in the accident, but the number of people hurt and the extent of those injuries are unknown.
Both lanes of I-10 West were blocked at the junction at one point, while the left lane of I-12 West at the merge was closed.
At one point, the backup from the wreck approached Millerville on I-12 West and Siegen on I-10 West.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
