Sheriff: Possible drug deal turns into robbery and sexual assault | News
BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB)- The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office continues to investigate what they believe started as a possible attempted drug deal and turned into a robbery and sexual assault.
A spokesperson with the Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to an apartment on Jefferson Park Drive, which is off Old Jefferson Highway, around 6:15 a.m. after a home invasion/robbery call.
Two suspects, one known to the victims, were taken into custody in connection with the investigation. Antoine Lewis, 22, has been charged with home invasion, armed robbery, illegal possession of a firearm
by a convicted felon and aggravated rape.
Colby Lewis, 18, has been charged with an outstanding warrant for simple robbery.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may
be added.
