The Capital Area United Way held its annual meeting on July 10 at its headquarters in downtown Baton Rouge.

WAFB Channel 9 received the media award for its support. Anchor Donna Britt accepted the award on behalf of the station.

Also, new officers were officially approved by the board. A reception was also held afterwards.
